New Product Introduction

Our New Product Introduction (NPI) services provide the specialized support each of our customers requires. Our customers are assigned a dedicated internal customer representative who facilitates communication and resolves any barriers that may delay the NPI process. The initial phase of our NPI services is to examine the product documentation to ensure any potential obstacles are identified on the front-end that might delay the production cycle and resolved in order to minimize the need for additional design changes. Our materials and engineering teams collaborate with our customers and suppliers to ensure aggressive prototype launch timelines are met typically within 5-10 days. Equipment in place at Conelec, such as JTAG, AOI, and X-ray inspection, helps to reduce up front tooling costs for small production builds and keeps prototype costs low.

Conelec's internal quality controls are structured to ensure prototypes reach customers free of defects - eliminating costly engineering time at the customer.

After the first article build is complete, production engineering and quality provides a comprehensive post-build recommendation that identifies any opportunities to improve the design, reliability, and manufacturability of the product with an emphasis on reducing production costs.
